During Fright Nights, you’ll experience the haunted house in a new immersive way as you check into the G & S Dead and Breakfast, where everyone is dying to stay! Fright Nights runs throughout select nights in October and there is no extra charge for this special experience. Note that children under the age of 6 are not permitted due to the graphic nature of the attraction and those under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.

2. Explore the Corridors of the Mysterious Mansion

Another spooktacular way to celebrate Halloween in Gatlinburg is with a tour through the Mysterious Mansion! This haunted house attraction has been scaring Smoky Mountain visitors for over 40 years, so see if YOU have what it takes to make it through the secret passageways, eerie dark corridors, winding staircases and spine chilling chambers! You never know what restless, rotting residents might be lurking around the corner in each foreboding room, so proceed with caution! The Mysterious Mansion is open all year long, but offers special Halloween presentations on October weekends!

3. Enjoy the Halloween Decor at Anakeesta’s Bear-Varian Fall Festival

Take your love of Halloween to new heights by heading up to Anakeesta to enjoy the Bear-Varian Fall Festival! After taking the Chondola or Ridge Rambler to the mountaintop theme park, make your way to Vista Gardens and stroll through the stunning nature inspired pumpkin carvings! As day changes to night and the sun dips below the mountains in the distance, the lights come on for you to experience Anakeesta at night! The whole village becomes awash in colors of orange, purple and a mystical green, and another whimsical piece of nature-themed Halloween decor is around every corner!

4. Take a Tour with Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg

Celebrate Halloween in Gatlinburg by taking a tour with Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg, where you’ll enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shadowy streets of Gatlinburg and hear stories of the unexplained! You’ll learn about a number of haunted hotels and buildings in the downtown area, see a cemetery that was built in 1830 and discover photos of paranormal activity that have been taken along the tour route! The Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg is about an hour long and is approximately one mile in length, and the tour is led by a local storyteller.
